Sapa is located in Lao Cai province to the west, is one of the famous tourist destinations in Vietnam, with over 100 years of establishment and development. Sapa is located at an average altitude of 1200-1800 meters above sea level, with fresh air, cool and national cultural identity unique, spectacular natural scenery with Fansipan - dubbed as the "Roof of Indochina".
Strive to 2020, Sa Pa resort meets the criteria and is recognized as a national tourist zone. By 2030, the national tourist zone has become the center of Sa Pa resort, experience, learn the national culture, international facilities systems synchronization and modern; building diverse tourism products and unique, high-quality, branded, capable to compete with other countries in the region and internationally.
Orientation Sa Pa tourism development zones including:
- The Tourism Division compartment - Ta Giang aneurysm (Ban Khoang and Ta Giang aneurysm, Sa Pa district): Development of community tourism, ecological farming, camping, picnicking.
- Ta Phin tourist zones (Ta Phin commune, Sa Pa district): Developing tourism resorts, nursing, health care, community tourism, ecological agriculture.
- Tourism Division Ta Van - Seo My Rate (Ta Van Commune, Sa Pa district): Development of resort, cultural tourism linked to the lake resort Seo My Ty, community tourism, ecological agriculture industry; is the starting point away Hoang Lien National Park and Fansipan.
- Tourism Division Thanh Kim (Thanh Kim, Sa Pa district): Focus resort development, community tourism, scenic location; clue is welcome tourists from the south (in conjunction with airport highway in Lao Cai and Noi Bai - Lao Cai).
