Hoa Binh hydropower reservoir (hereinafter called the Lake of Peace) formed after damming construction Da Hoa Binh hydropower plant, creating one of the largest artificial reservoir in Vietnam, stretching 230 km from Hoa Binh to Son La. The province of Hoa Binh, Hoa Binh Lake is located within the city's administrative Peace and 4 districts of Da Bac, Cao Phong, Tan Lac and Mai Chau. Strategy and planning in tourism development from central to local levels have confirmed the important role of the Lake of Peace. In particular, Decision No. 201 / QD-TTg determine Ho Hoa Binh in the list of potential sites developed national tourist resort, is the favorable conditions for tourism development.
The master plan for development of national tourism zone Ho Hoa Binh, Hoa Binh province in 2030 formed the basis for the management and attract investment, effectively exploiting the tourism potential, contributing to the economic socio -, poverty reduction and sustainable development for national tourism zone Binhnoi giaHo Hoa Hoa Binh province in particular and in general.
Spatial organization oriented tourism Lake District National Tourism Development Peace Focus 1,200 ha core area (excluding water surface area), 1 center and 6 main sections:
+ Ngoi Hoa Tourism Center: Under Tan Lac district, resort development, eco, sport and recreation synthesis.
+ Division Thung Nai belongs Cao Phong district, development of services associated with key ports.
+ Pacific Division belongs to the southern bank of the Black River city of Peace, resort and tourism development, ecotourism lake, the port services associated with tourism.
+ Thai Thinh zones: the northern bank of the Black River Properties Hoa Binh city, resort and tourism development, ecotourism lake, the port services associated with tourism.
+ Hien Luong Division: Under Da Bac district, popular tourist village development, ecotourism lake aquaculture combined.
Binh Thanh + subdivision - that again belongs to Cao Phong district and Da Bac district, develop sports tourism, recreation and relaxation.
